Chrome Web Store Limited Use Certified

Browser Extensions Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 15, 2026 • Publisher: Neon Innovation Lab (infoneoninnovationlab@gmail.com)

This Privacy Policy governs only the official Manifest V3 Chrome Extensions published by Neon Innovation Lab on the Google Chrome Web Store, specifically:

  • 1. FastLLM: AI Search (AEO) Auditor & Markdown Clipper
  • 2. NeonMaps: B2B Lead & Email Extractor

1. Google Chrome Web Store Limited Use Disclosure

The use of information received from Google APIs and Chrome Extension APIs adheres strictly to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:

  • No Sale of Data: We never sell, rent, license, or trade user data or browsing activity to third parties, data brokers, or advertising networks.
  • Single Purpose Execution Only: Any webpage content or public business query processed by our extensions is accessed strictly on-demand when you explicitly click the extension action button.
  • No Background Tracking: Our extensions do not inject global background tracking scripts, do not record browsing history across tabs, and do not load third-party analytics or advertising cookies.
  • No Creditworthiness Use: Data is never used or transferred to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

2. What Data Is Processed & How It Is Stored

A. FastLLM: AI Search (AEO) Auditor & Markdown Clipper

  • Local Markdown Extraction:When you click “Extract to Markdown”, the active tab's article text is converted to clean Markdown 100% locally inside your browser. This page content is never transmitted to any external server.
  • On-Demand AI Search (AEO) Audit:When you click “Audit Site”, the extension sends only the public hostname/URL of the page you are auditing to https://neoninnovationlab.com/api/tools/aeo-audit to inspect public robots.txt rules, /llms.txt manifests, and Schema.org JSON-LD markup. If you activated Pro, a license token (not your original key) is sent with the request so the server can return the full generated files. No cookies or personal browsing history are transmitted.
  • License activation: When you enter a Pro license key, the key and a random device identifier generated by the extension are sent once to https://neoninnovationlab.com/api/tools/aeo-audit/validate-license. The server returns a signed license token and stores only a keyed hash of the key plus the device identifiers activated with it (maximum three devices per key). The extension re-checks the token with the server at most once every 24 hours so that refunded licenses stop working.
  • Local Storage (chrome.storage.local): Stores your daily free-tier usage counters, a random device identifier, and, if you upgrade to Pro, your license token locally on your device. The original license key is not stored.

B. NeonMaps: B2B Lead & Email Extractor

  • On-Demand B2B Lead Discovery:When you enter a business category and city (or auto-fill them from an open Google Maps search tab) and click “Extract Leads & Emails”, the search query and city name are sent to https://neoninnovationlab.com/api/tools/gmaps-lead-enricher, with your license token(s) if you activated Pro. Our server finds local businesses in open map data (it does not query Google Maps), visits each business website to collect publicly listed contact information (public phone, website, social links and public contact emails), and checks each email domain against DNS mail-server (MX) records. For Pro licenses, the server also keeps daily and monthly usage counters (number of searches and listings) linked to the hashed license key.
  • License activation: When you enter a Pro license key, the key and a random device identifier generated by the extension are sent once to https://neoninnovationlab.com/api/tools/gmaps-lead-enricher/validate-license. The server returns a signed license token and stores only a keyed hash of the key plus the device identifiers activated with it (maximum three devices per key). Up to three license tokens can be stacked. The extension re-checks tokens with the server at most once every 24 hours.
  • Local Storage (chrome.storage.local): Stores your most recent search results for instant CSV export, your daily free-tier usage counter, a random device identifier, and your optional Pro license token(s) locally on your device. The original license key is not stored.

3. Chrome Permissions Justification

We request the minimum possible permissions required for our extensions to function:

PermissionExact User-Facing Purpose
activeTabGrants temporary, one-time access to read the active tab's URL or article DOM strictly when you explicitly click the extension toolbar icon.
scriptingExecutes the on-demand DOM-to-Markdown parser or reads the active Google Maps search query only when you click the extraction button inside the popup.
storageSaves your daily free quota count, recent lead table preview, a random device identifier and optional Pro license token(s) locally in chrome.storage.local.

4. Data Retention, Deletion & Contact

All extension state (usage counters, cached previews, a random device identifier and license tokens) is stored locally on your device in chrome.storage.local. Uninstalling the extension from Google Chrome immediately and permanently deletes all locally stored extension data. If you activated a Pro license, our server keeps a keyed hash of the license key, the device identifiers activated with it, and usage counters for as long as the license is active; email us to have a license record deleted.
